(Middlesex, NJ) — Crews were out with traps yesterday trying to capture an elusive alligator that’s been roaming a Middlesex, New Jersey Park for days now. Middlesex Mayor John Madden says Victor Crowell Park will remain closed as they look for the gator, that is believed to be around five feet long. Police think someone had the alligator as a pet and got rid of it when it got too big.
