(New York, NY) — A prisoner remains on the loose after making a daring escape from a Manhattan hospital.
Police are trying to track down Yenchun Chen who went out a fifth floor window at Mount Sinai Beth Israel yesterday afternoon. Police say he rappelled down the building with tied up bed sheets before taking off in a taxi.
The 44-year-old was arrested on July 31st for possession of a controlled substance, and was hospitalized a few days later, according to police.
Authorities are actively looking for Chen at this time.
