(New York, NY) — Gas prices continue to rise, hitting an eight month high. The Triple-A says the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded have hit 3.75 a gallon. That’s 17 cents more than last week. Economists say the record breaking heat and a spike in production costs are fueling the price hikes.
