(New York, NY) — Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella says there is no way drivers there should have to pay congestion pricing tolls. He says many have no choice, but to drive into work, because Staten Island does not have enough public transportation options.  So, Fossella says he will join New Jersey in mounting a lawsuit to stop the MTA from charging drivers to go below 60th street in Manhattan.  The MTA says both Staten Island and New Jersey have baseless lawsuits. They plan to start charging drivers anywhere from 9 to 23 dollars when congestion pricing kicks in next year.  The tolls collected will be used to pay for MTA infrastructure projects.
