(NEW YORK, NY) —  Three Heroic officers stepped in this week, helping a missing Autistic man make his way home.

Tyree, the lost man, found himself in an unfamiliar Grand Central Station in NYC, after traveling from Philadelphia. Three Officers: Azad Miah, Rochester Joseph and Sergeant Craig Siegelbaum noticed a confused Tyree and stepped in immediately.

“The family was going to come to New York to pick him up originally,” said Siegelbaum to Eyewitness News.  “Someone came up with the idea to get him on an Amtrak train and have the family meet him there.”

After successfully helping Tyree make his way home, his family was thankful. “I’m grateful that they were even able to coordinate something like this because I’ve heard of countless times where it didn’t end like this,” Tyree’s uncle, Kevin Watson, told  Eyewitness News.

The three officers, Tyree and his family all met over zoom to express gratitude to the MTA heroes.
