New Brunswick, NJ -Tuition is going up at Rutgers. Students will be paying more for tuition plus room and board for the fall term.
Its a 6% percent increase -which is about $387 dollars per student.
Not too surprising, after Rutgers unions voted to ratify a new contract with a hefty 14 percent raise. University officials say the increase is needed to offset rising inflation, along with an increase in salaries, wages, and employee benefits.
