Amtrak Train
(New York, NY) – Amtrak service has resumed between New York City and Philadelphia, after overhead wire issues caused disruptions and delays. By 9:50 AM Thursday, Amtrak officials announced power had been restored. For close to an hour, Keystone trains only operated between Harrisburg and Philly. Now, trains are running again between New York Penn Station and 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.
NJ Transit operations were also impacted for a time, but got back to normal by 10:00 AM. Service had been suspended for a time between Trenton and Metropark, while the North Jersey Coast Line also experienced delays.
