NEW JERSEY -The MTA says its considering removing the congestion price fee for New Jersey commuters who access Hudson or East River tunnels. Right now drivers would pay an extra $9 to $23 to drive into Manhattan below 60th Street.
News 12 New Jersey reporting MTA CEO Janno Lieber says “We’re being responsible about it, and we’re taking fairness to New Jersey into consideration”
Currently, congestion pricing is on pace to begin early next year.
