(New York, NY) — Four people were killed overnight, when a fire broke out in a Lower East Side e-bike shop, then spread to the apartments above the store. Two others are in critical condition. The flames could be shooting out of the store on Madison Street just after midnight. A slew of burned bikes can be seen outside the store on the sidewalk. There is no word what ignited the blaze, but the FDNY has fought countless fire that have been started by e-bike batteries over the last year.
