(New York, NY) – A man is safe and in stable condition after his car plunged into Patchogue Bay early Thursday morning. A witness reported that 33-year-old Nestor Riosarvealo drove off the dock just before 5:00 AM. The witness immediately called 911. Officer Edward Pitre and firefighter Peter Feehan responded and jumped into action.
Together, the men broke the car’s windows, and rescued Riosarvealo. He was brought back to the dock. Riosarvealo, Pitre, and Feehan all suffered minor injuries but have been treated and released from the hospital.
