(New York, NY) — Bud Light is no longer the top-selling beer in the nation. Modelo, a Mexican beer surpassed Bud Light in May. They now take in eight-point-four-percent of U.S retail beer sales, while Bud Light fell to seven-point-three percent. Bud Light’s drop in sales comes after a recent boycott by consumers, over the beer company’s promotional campaign that involved a transgender influencer.
