The media is ripe with repetitive information on the story of the Chinese surveillance balloon story!
What are we to believe from the various news reports?
The sudden appearance of this mystery balloon, told to us by the media as a high altitude balloon first appearing over the Aleutian Islands on January 28th, with the balloon moving over Canada and then northern Idaho on January 31st. Following this, the balloon was seen over Montana on February 1st.
From here, the Chinese platform was seen to maneuver over many military bases around the nation. The question has been asked many times, why this object allowed drifting or maneuvering over the nation for so long?
Did the Chinese balloon drop some type of electronic CICADA or LOCUST type drones over our military bases?
We may never know the true answer to this!

Why not just shoot the balloon down over land?
This is not the first time that such balloons have been sighted around or over US territorial airspace. Reports claim that previous administrations did little or nothing about this.
We may never know!
The downing over the ocean of this spy platform will hopefully reveal the true capability and mission of this illegal incursion into our airspace.

An even more interesting story involving the shoot down of the Chinese surveillance balloon has to do with the US Air Force F-22 Raptors, which were sent to take down the
balloon. Two F-22 Raptors were dispatched from the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley in Virginia. The F-22 is a most sophisticated aerial platform which may cost over 200 million dollars per copy. This is a high tech fighter aircraft which has an amazing history and capability:

We are told that the call signs for the F-22’s involved in the shoot down of the balloon were; FRANK 12 and FRANK 2. This, in honor of the WW1 aviator, Lt. Frank Luke Jr.
He was the pilot who shot down 14 German observation balloons in Germany.
