NEW YORK (77WABC) — Two NYPD officers came under gunfire as they tried to pull over a car in Brooklyn — possibly connected to an earlier shooting — Wednesday afternoon.
Shots were fired at rockaway and shore parkways in the Canarsie section. Two suspects — a man and a woman — fled in a black Mercedes going eastbound on Rockaway Parkway before they abandoned it at Pennsylvania Avenue and Seaview Avenue.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. The officers were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
