Queens, NY (77WABC)-The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying the two men in the attached surveillance photos and video regarding a grand larceny.
On Friday, October 7, 2022, at 1 in the afternoon, police say the two men were inside of the Duane Reade store at 35-06 Broadway. Working together, police say the two men, robbed an 86-year-old woman who was distracted at the time, of her wallet and cellphone.
Police say one of the men shielded the other who took the woman’s wallet containing $40 cash and her Apple iPhone from her pocketbook.
The first man has a light complexion, short brown hair, medium build with one leg. Police say he last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt with white graphic on the front, a light colored camouflaged hooded jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and using crutches. The second man also has a light complexion, short dark hair with a stocky build. He last seen wearing a light-colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, a Puma baseball cap, black sneakers, a dark colored jacket and wearing eyeglasses.
