BRONX, NY (77WABC) — A 55 year old man has died after being stabbed on an MTA bus in the Bronx following a dispute
It happened around 8 p.m. Sunday near 149th street and Gerard Avenue in Mott Haven. Police say the man was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as Lamont Barkley of 1711 Davidson Avenue in the Bronx, according to police. It is unclear what led up to the stabbing or if the victim and his attacker knew each other.
An investigation continues. Police say so far there’ve been no arrests.
