U.S.-HOUSTON-MIGRANTS-DEPORT
NAPLES, Fla. (77WABC) — Some of the migrants bused to New York from the Southern US border are now making their way to Florida hoping to find hurricane clean-up work.
Vans filled with men and women left from Queens over the weekend. They are hoping to land jobs that could pay as much as $15 an hour.
One of the van drivers told The New York Post that he was hired by a water and debris company in Florida to bring workers to the sunshine state. Texas officials have been sending thousands of migrants, who crossed the Southern border there illegally to Democratic cities for months now.
