YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (77WABC) — Former President Donald Trump at an Ohio rally leveled a blistering attack Saturday night against President Joe Biden.
Trump told supporters that Biden’s U.S. Justice Department was waging unprecedented “political repression” against MAGA supporters. Trump also said Biden’s inflationary economic policies were “incinerating trillions of dollars of middle-class wealth.”
“Our country is being ripped apart, and the American dream is being torn to shreds,” Trump told fans in Youngstown, Ohio. “Sad, sad, sad what’s happening.”
He also called the investigations into Jan. 6 and the FBI raid at his Mar-a-Lago estate “unhinged persecution,” citing the seizure of phones and evidence from scores of his supporters.
Trump said the investigations and legal pressure won’t deter him and are likely to boomerang the fall elections. He added that Biden’s economics which he said had created “one of the worst seven day periods in history” for the stock market.
