NEW YORK, NEW YORK -(77WABC)- The squeegeemen are back on NYC Streets.
The New York Post catching a crew recently targeting vehicles at West 40th Street and Ninth Avenue.
The window-washers with their hands out approaching vehicles stopped at red lights — wiping up windshields without warning and then asking drivers to pony up the doe.
Getting rid of the squeegeemen was a priority for then Mayor Guiliani—but its not clear how Mayor Adams will handle this situation.
