A Deadly Father’s Day Shooting in Queens, Two Other Shooting Victims Hospitalized

Queens, NY (77WABC)- Three people were shot one fatally during the early morning hours of Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19th, 2022, at approximately 5:05 am.

Police responded to a 911 call of multiple people shot in the rear of 135-26 Cross Bay Blvd., within the confines of the 106th Precinct.

Upon arrival, police found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot to his torso.  EMS responded and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have identified the dead man as 38-year-old Raymond Francis of 2016 Union St., in Brooklyn, NY.

Two other people were shot during the incident. A 32-year-old man,  who was shot in his face, was taken to Jamaica Hospital by private means and was last reported in stable condition.  A  32-year-old man, was shot multiple times in the right leg and taken to Kings County Hospital by private means. H was also reported in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
