NEW YORK (77WABC) — The NYPD is asking for the public’s help looking for a woman who pepper-sprayed four other women in broad daylight in an apparent anti-Asian attack.

Police say on June 11 around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of 14th Street and 9th Avenue, the woman maced the four female victims during an argument and allegedly made Anti-Asian statements.
Authorities say the attacker is described as approximately in her 50’s, 5’3″ tall, 120lbs; and last seen wearing a multi-colored orange dress, a pink scarf around her shoulders and sunglasses. NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.
Cops said the victims refused medical attention at the scene.
