NEW YORK (77WABC) — The NYPD is looking for two attackers who beat a 44-year-old man unconscious just before midnight last Thursday at the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights station on the E train in Queens.
The NYPD released disturbing video Saturday morning of three suspects attacking the man with his own cane until the victim was beaten unconscious. Police say a verbal dispute preceded the violent attack.
One of three suspects is under arrest: 36-year-old Palwinder Singh — who’s allegedly homeless — was taken into custody Friday evening. He is charged with robbery and assault.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
