Jewish Man Slapped in Random Brooklyn Attack

BROOKLYN (77WABC) — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in finding two unidentified males and unidentified vehicle sought in connection with an attack near the 63rd Precinct.

Police say on Friday, February 11 around 11:35 p.m., a 22-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when his attacker exited the passenger side of an unidentified light-color mini-van, approached him and slapped him in his face, knocking his yarmulke off of his head. The first unidentified person fled to the unidentified mini-van, which was being driven by another unidentified person. The two unidentified males fled in the mini-van.

The victim refused medical attention for pain, redness and swelling to his face. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
