NEW YORK, NEW YORK  (77WABC)- Allison Gollust, the CNN executive who had a relationship with former network head Jeff Zucker, has resigned from the network following an investigation into “issues associated with Chris Cuomo and former Governor Andrew Cuomo,” according to a memo from the company’s CEO, and reported by the New York Post.

“Based on interviews of more than 40 individuals and a review of over 100,000 texts and emails, the investigation found violations of Company policies, including CNN’s News Standards and Practices, by Jeff Zucker, Allison Gollust, and Chris Cuomo,” Jason Kilar, the chief marketing officer at CNN, wrote in a memo.

“I realize this news is troubling, disappointing, and frankly, painful to read. These are valid feelings many of you have.”

Zucker resigned from his post as CNN president earlier this month after acknowledging a years-long “consensual relationship” with Gollust, the network’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
