(WOODBRIDGE, NJ) (77WABC) -The price at the pump is beginning to soar, thanks to a spike in the price of oil which is now more than $80 a barrel.
In New Jersey drivers are shelling at more at the pump.
News 12 New Jersey reporting the average price for a gallon of regular is $3.28 cents compared to 2020, when the price was $2.25 cents and when there were less cars on the road at the height of the pandemic.
The rise in prices at the pump reflecting current demand for fuel which in some regions of the nation is in short supply.
