NEW YORK (77WABC) — Police are searching for a woman who pushed another woman into a subway train at the Times Square-42nd Street station Monday morning.

According to police, a 42-year-old woman was waiting on the northbound 1/2/3 train platform of the Times Square station as a train pulled in. A woman then pushed the victim unprovoked, causing her to be struck by the train, then falling back onto the platform.
There is an active investigation at the Times Square subway complex after a passenger was pushed into the side of a 3-train as it entered the station this morning. The NYPD says the victim sustained serious injuries to their face and legs. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
