According to police, a 42-year-old woman was waiting on the northbound 1/2/3 train platform of the Times Square station as a train pulled in. A woman then pushed the victim unprovoked, causing her to be struck by the train, then falling back onto the platform.

The NYPD says the victim sustained serious injuries to their face and legs. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
