A $10,000 Reward for Information Leading to Suspects Who Opened Fire in Queens Injuring Ten People

Jackson Heights, NY (77WABC)-The NYPD has announced a combined $10,000 reward for information leading to four suspects in connection with a shooting in Jackson Heights Queens on Sat. July 31st.

Police say ten people were shot at 99th Street and 37th Avenue when two gunmen opened fire on a crowd of people. Two other men on mopeds followed behind the shooters, picked them up after the shooting and fled.

Police say the gunfire hit eight men and two women. None of the injuries were life threatening. All victims were taken to area hospitals.

The NYPD has released new photos and a video in hopes of identifying the suspects involved in the shooting.

Police have released the following descriptions of the suspects:

  • Individual #1 is a male last seen wearing a black hoody, black mask, gray pants, and black sneakers. He used a handgun to fire multiple shots.
  • Individual #2 is a male last seen wearing a red hoody, a mask, gray pants, and black sneakers. He used a handgun to fire multiple shots.
  • Individual #3 is a male last seen wearing a gray sweater with an American eagle logo and black pants. He operated a moped.
  • Individual #4 is a male last seen wearing a black sweatshirt. He operated a moped.
