WILLINGBORO, N.J. (AP) — The Burlington County Prosecutors Office is investigating after a 14-year-old allegedly driving a stolen vehicle was shot and killed Saturday afternoon.
Investigators say around 3 in the afternoon, a 14-year-old pulled up to pumps of a township gas station. Authorities said another vehicle soon pulled into the gas station, a male got out of the passenger side, approached the first vehicle and shot the victim in the head.
Authorities said 14-year-old Jesse Everett was pronounced dead at University Medical Center in Camden shortly before 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
