New York, NY (77WABC)- A 20-year-old woman and 23-year-old man were standing at a bus stop as three cars were drag racing in the area, when one of the cars hopped the curb, killing the woman and injuring the man. The driver of the vehicle, which was a red Dodge Charger, jumped out of the car and fled the scene. He is still on the loose.
The incident happened around 3am Monday morning near the corner of Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. The man is said to be in stable condition and police are still searching for the driver.
Please contact the NYPD with any information as they are still looking to make an arrest.
