Queens, NY (77WABC)-Police are hoping the public an help them identify a “person of interest” wanted for questioning after a 25-year-old Elmont man died after being shot in his head and torso.
Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the vicinity of 105-23 150 Street around 2:45 in the morning finding Albert J. Carrasco Serrato unconscious with gunshot wounds to his head and torso.
EMS responded and transported Serrato to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
 The NYPD describes the person of interest they are looking for as a male hispanic with a beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with the word, “Adidas” in white lettering on the front and black pants. The individual also has a tattoo on his left forearm.
