Center Moriches, NY (77WABC)-Police in Suffolk County says three men are under arrest following a double shooting out side of the Lidl Supermarket at 812 Montauk Highway in Center Moriches Sunday afternoon.
According to police, two men got into a verbal dispute outside of the Lidl Supermarket. Police say they shot each other in the supermarkets parking lot at approximately 4:05 p.m. Both were transported to local hospitals for treatment, one for critical injuries and one for serious injuries. A motive for the shootings has not yet been released.
Two other men, who were with the two men who shot each other, fled the scene and were later apprehended nearby.
Police say three of the men were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree.
The two men who were not injured are being held overnight at the Third Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on July 19.
