Andrew Yang condemns recent attack on Asian man in New York, USA – 25 May 2021
The Democratic Mayoral Primary Debate will be hosted by WABC-TV and will take place Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. All eight candidates are expected to appear – Eric Adams, Shaun Donovan, Kathryn Garcia, Ray McGuire, Dianne Morales, Scott Stringer, Maya Wiley, and Andrew Yang. This will be their first live in-person debate.
According to Bloomberg, recent polls showed that former presidential candidate Andrew Yang was not as high in the polls as he originally was. He was passed by former NYPD captain Eric Adams. Also climbing the polls was former city Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia. Maya Wiley, former counsel to current Mayor Bill de Blasio, is also on the rise.
The second Democratic debate is tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.! The first hour will be televised on WABC Channel 7, with the second hour scheduled on WABC’s streaming platforms and over the air on Channel 7.2.

According to The New York Times, early voting is set to begin on June 12.
