Queens, NY (77WABC)_A 28-year-old Queens man walked into the 105th Precinct wearing bloodied clothing telling police he’d killed his 65-year-old mother.
Police say on Sat. morning they responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female inside of 88-48 Winchester Blvd. Officers from the 105 Precinct found the man’s mother, 65-year-old Saroj Sharma, unconscious with bruising to her face neck. EMS transported her to Long Island Jewish Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Later in the day, police say the woman’s 28-year-old son turned himself into police. Pushkar Sharma of the same address is charged with murder and sex abuse in his mother’s death.
He remains held. An investigation is ongoing.
