Boca Raton, Florida (77WABC)-Florida police say synthetic drugs called “Bath Salts” which can cause psychotic episodes, were found in the purse of a woman claiming to be the fictional character, Harry Potter at the time of her arrest in connection with a fatal hit and run which killed a Federal Judge from Long Island and injured a boy.

Police in Boca Raton say 75-year-old Eastern District of New York federal Judge Sandar Feuerstein was walking with a 6-year-old on a sidewalk when a car allegedly driven by Nastasia Snape swerved onto the sidewalk striking them on Friday, April 9th. The boy, Anthony Ovchinnikov, was seriously hurt. He was hospitalized, but his condition Sunday evening was not made public.
Police in Palm Beach County say officers apprehended Snape following Fridays’ crash, charging her with vehicular homicide and other felonies. She is additionally charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
Snape remained jailed Sunday on a $60,000 bond.
Ironically, in the Potter novels, there is a character named Snape.
