(Bronx, NY/77WABC)-Police say two individuals pushed their way into the apartment of a 53-year-old man in the vicinity of Van Buren Street and Morris Park Avenue after knocking on the man’s apartment door. One of the suspects displayed a knife.
Police say the victim attempted to flee and during a brief struggle, one of the males pushed the victim down a set of stairs.
The individuals proceeded to remove approximately $2,000 from the apartment before fleeing on foot on Morris Park Avenue towards Fillmore Street.
The violent home invasion occurred on Monday, March 22nd at approximately 1:45 pm in the afternoon.
