NEW YORK (77WABC) – Governor Cuomo is facing a new sexual harassment allegation. The unnamed woman’s attorney, Gloria Allred, said in a press release that the governor kissed the woman without her consent at her home in front of her family.
Allred has scheduled a news conference at 2:30 p.m. on Monday to release details of the allegations. The attorney said they will release a photo of Cuomo kissing her client, who is married. It’s unclear when the alleged incident took place or whether the woman is or was employed by Cuomo’s administration or whether the woman was kissed on the mouth or cheek.
Allred released the information via a press release obtained by 77wabcradio.
The married woman will detail how she “was shocked when the Governor suddenly grabbed her face and kissed her in front of her home,” according to the release.
A photo of the kiss will be provided during the briefing, the release additionally states.
Cuomo’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Several women — most of them current or former Cuomo staffers — have accused the governor of inappropriate remarks or physical contact since late February.
