A fight outside the Terrace Inn Bar in Queens early Saturday lead to a 55-year-old man dying and charges against an off-duty FDNY member.
Police arrived after a call to 911 and found the man lying with injuries to the back of his head. The victim was taken to Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by authorities later as Devin Deegan of Queens.
Police believe a fight led to Deegan falling and hitting his head on the pavement.
FDNY member Justin Deieso was arrested for assault.
Authorities said an investigation is ongoing.
