A Woman Attacked With A Boxcutter During A Dispute Over Graffiti

(Brooklyn, NY/77WABC)-Police are hoping the public can help them identify the suspects seen in the attached photos and video after a 62-year-old woman was attacked with a closed boxcutter after confronting suspects about graffiti.

Police say the female victim approached three suspects who she observed making graffiti around 3:30 Sunday afternoon in front of 15 Linden Street in Brooklyn. A verbal dispute erupted. The woman attempted to walk away but was followed by the individuals. While they were in front of 1357 Broadway, one of the individuals struck the victim on her left forearm using the handle of a closed box cutter. The individuals then fled the location on foot heading towards Bushwick Avenue.

Police say the victim sustained pain and discomfort and refused medical attention at the scene.

Surveillance video and photos depicting the individuals, two men and one woman, were obtained from 1054 Bushwick Avenue, and are attached:

Individual #1 is described as a male with a light complexion, slim build, last seen wearing a white baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black t-shirt, gray pants, and white sneakers.

Individual #2 is described as a male with a light complexion, slim build, long hair, last seen wearing glasses, a camouflage hat, green camouflage waist-length jacket, a white shirt with a black horizontal stripe, black pants, and dark-colored sneakers. He was also in possession of the box cutter.

Individual #3 is described as a female with a light complexion, a slim build, long brown hair, last seen wearing a burgundy skull cap, a black waist-length jacket, green pants, and black boots.
