(Lake George, NY/77WABC)-Authorities say off duty FDNY member, Carmine Barresi of the Bronx, NY died Sat. in a snowmobile accident at Lake George, NY.
Officials say Barresti’s snowmobile struck a boat dock. The impact sent him into the water and under the ice.
FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro issued a statement calling the accident a terrible loss for the department.
Barresi was assigned to Engine Company 64.
