subwaysuspect
(New York), NY)-The NYPD is hoping the public can help identify a suspect in connection with a subway push on Tuesday. Video shows the female suspect outside the 174t St. Subway Station in the Bronx.
The NYPD says the victim identified as 54 year-old Rosa Galeas was waiting for a train when the suspect walked up to her and shoved her. As Galeas attempted to steady herself, the suspect pushed her again and she fell onto the tracks. A good samaritan came to her aide.
Galeas was taken to St. Barnabus where she was treated for her injuries.
Police say anyone with information as to the suspect’s identification is asked to contact the NYPD at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or call 1-800-577-tips.
