(Bronx, NY/77WABC)-A 2-alarm fire in the Bronx Tues. night has left a 7-year-old boy in critical condition.
The boy suffered severe burns and smoke inhalation after a two-alarm fire broke out in the family’s kitchen on Findlay Ave. shortly before 9 pm Tues. night.

The FDNY says a firefighter was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The boy is hospitalized at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
Eight children and an adult were in the apartment at the time of the fire. None of the others were hurt.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
