(New York, NY)-An agreement between NY State, New York City, Somos Community Care, The NY National Guard, and The NY Yankees Organization is allowing the Yankee’s home Stadium in the Bronx to be open as a Mega Vaccination Site beginning today, Friday, Feb. 5th, 2021.
NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio announced during his morning briefing Thursday that the site is open to Bronx residents only. The Mayor said 15,000 Covid-19 vaccinations will be available during the first week of operation.
He added sign up is available by logging to the following website: https://www.somosvaccinations.com, or by calling 1-833-Somos NY.
The Mayor stressed the Yankee Stadium Mega Vaccination site is for Bronx residents only who were hard hit by Covid-19.
