(New York, NY/77WABC)-Police say four suspects forced their way into a residential building at 81st St. and Madison Ave. on the UES of Manhattan New Years’ Eve.
The NYPD says armed suspects followed a 68-year-old man into his building lobby displaying weapons and demanding property. The suspects then forced the man and a 67-year-old male doorman into the building’s elevator. Suspects then forced their way into the man’s residence.
Once inside, suspects removed cash and jewelry from the man’s apartment with a total estimated value of $10,000. Police say the four individuals then fled the location in a dark-colored minivan.
The four males being sought in connection with the armed home invasion are between 20 and 30 years of age.
