(Brooklyn, NY/77WABC)-The NYPD says a 24-year-old male was pronounced dead at Brooklyn Hospital after being found unconscious and unresponsive early this morning at NYCHA’s Farragut Housing Complex in Brooklyn, NY.
Officers were called to the Public Housing Complex just before 1 am following a 911 call of a person shot inside 237 Nassau Street within the confines of the 84th Police Precinct.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 24-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his torso unconscious and unresponsive. Police say EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
The name of the deceased is pending family notification.
