(Trenton, NJ-77WABC)-A single winning top tier $23.2 million dollar Powerball ticket was sold at the Quick Mart, 155 Lakeview Ave. in Clifton NJ for Saturday nights multi-state drawing. The Clifton Quick Mart also sold a winning second-tier Powerball Ticket for Saturday nights drawing worth $1,000,000 which matched all five white balls but not the Powerball.
It followed Wednesday’s $731 million dollar drawing in which the lone top tier ticket was sold in Maryland.
The Clifton Quick Mart will receive $30,000 for selling that winning ticket.
The buyer of the other second-tier winning Powerball ticket opted for the Power Play option multiplying the prize to $2,000,000. That ticket was sold at The Quick Check #183, 26 Route 206 in Stanhope, NJ.
Lottery officials say there were three New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
– Atlantic County: Atlantic City Gasoline, 1403 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City;
– Camden County: In & Out Convenience Store, 1177 West Browning Rd., Bellmawr; and,
– Monmouth County: Little Silver Pharmacy, 10 Church St., Little Silver.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, January 23, drawing were: 05, 08, 17, 27, and 28. The Red Power Ball number was 14. The Multiplier number was 03.
The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing which will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27th.
