NYPD cops arrested over alleged role in prostitution ring
NEW YORK (77WABC)-The NYPD says a 71-year-old man is in police custody after a woman was found dead inside 110 East 87th St. in Manhattan, NY.
Police say the woman was discovered unconscious and unresponsive with abrasions on her neck Wed. evening.
EMS also responded to the location and pronounced the female deceased at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
An investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
