No. 1 LSU is returning to Atlanta to face No. 4 Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl semifinal on Dec. 28. The Tigers improved to 13-0 with a 37-10 rout of Georgia in the Southeastern Conference football championship game. They are led by quarterback Joe Burrow, who has thrown 48 touchdown passes and is a heavy favorite for the Heisman Trophy. Oklahoma captured the Big 12 title with an overtime victory over Baylor and made the playoff for the fourth time in six years. Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts had a huge season for the Sooners, setting up quite a QB showdown.

No. 2 Ohio State faces No. 3 Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl

No. 3 Clemson will face No. 2 Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl with a spot in the national championship game on the line. The Buckeyes dropped to No. 2 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings after struggling in the first half of the Big Ten championship game. The Tigers blew out Virginia in the Atlantic Coast Conference title game to win their 28th straight game. Clemson is the reigning national champion and has won two of the past three titles.
