NEW JERSEY (77 WABC) – A plane had to be evacuated at Newark Airport on Friday morning due to a minor fuel leak.
ABC 7 reports that United Airlines Flight 2251 was taken to a remote part of the airport. Port Authority buses arrived to transport passengers safely.
The fuel leak was reported around 10:20 a.m. and said only to be minor. Emergency crews arrived to begin the cleanup.
The flight was headed to Mexico City with a 9:56 departure time.
