Hunter Biden was convicted on three federal charges in his Delaware firearms case on June 11, 2024.

(Wilmington, DE) – Hunter Biden has been found guilty on all counts in his federal firearms case in Delaware. The president’s son was accused of purchasing and possessing a gun while under the influence of drugs in 2018. He also apparently lied on a form that asked if he was using drugs, while buying the gun. Biden was officially convicted on three felony counts in the case.

Hallie Biden, Hunter’s brother’s widow and his ex-lover, tossed the gun in the trash. She at one point took the witness stand during the trial. The revolver was eventually found and then taken in as evidence by federal agents. Hunter Biden has had well documented issues with substance abuse — but this violation of gun laws in connection to drugs has now resulted in his conviction.

The man who sold Hunter the gun also testified.

It marks the first time a sitting US president saw a child go on trial. Hunter could face up to 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced. President Biden has vowed he won’t pardon his son. Hunter also faces a separate trial for alleged tax crimes in California.
