Special Event: NYC’s First Manhattan District Attorney Primary Debate

New York (77 WABC) – 77 WABC Radio will be holding an in-person debate for Manhattan District Attorney on Thursday, June 17th at 4PM. The event will be live streamed on 770 AM, the 77 WABC app, YouTube and wabcradio.com. Political newsman Dominic Carter will moderate the debate. 

Eight candidates will appear at the debate: 

Alvin Bragg – Former chief deputy Attorney General for New York State and professor at New York Law School

Eliza Orlins – Criminal defense attorney for the Legal Aid Society

Tali Farhadian Weinstein – Former U.S. DOJ Counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder

Elizabeth Crotty – Criminal Law Attorney and former ADA

Dan Quart – New York State Assemblyperson and pro bono lawyer

Diana Florence – Former prosecutor for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office

Lucy Lang – Director of the IIP at John Jay College and former ADA

Tahanie Aboushi – Civil rights attorney

The New York Primary election is on June 22 with early voting already underway, and the General election will be held on November 2.
