Bernie & Sid in the morning kicks off your week with a rundown of all the news that you might’ve missed over the weekend. The disarray within the Democratic party is reaching its boiling point as activists for the massive spending bill’s passing are now stalking the Democratic senators that are opposing the bill. Senator Sinema can’t even take a peaceful bathroom break without protesters following her into the stall with a camera phone in her face. When you start to impede on any person’s, let alone a representative’s right to privacy, then you know you’ve taken things a step too far. These protesters need to check themselves and ask whether or not these invasive tactics are actually helping their cause, because berating a Senator while they go to the bathroom is not the way to get a point across. In other news, Dr. Anthony Fauci will not and cannot stop seeking attention, as now he’s saying it’s too soon to tell whether or not gathering for the holidays will be appropriate. Most everyone is ready to move on from the living hell that was this pandemic, but the only reason we can’t is because people like Fauci won’t let it end. He needs to take several steps back and let us decide for ourselves whether or not we want to gather for the holidays. Also, Vice President Kamala Harris rears her ugly head for a power-walking session, Rand Paul puts his hat in the ring for the smartest man in the senate, and the George Floyd statue wouldn’t have been vandalized if it was never erected in the first place. Rich Lowry joins the boys in the second hour of today’s program, and Constantine Maroulis checks in for an entertainment report in the final hour. As always, don’t miss Lidia Reports and this Monday edition of The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest.
